CWOA Golden Gate Chapter

President: CWO Sarah Linayao

The Golden Gate Chapter of the United States Coast Guard Chief Warrant Officer’s Association is a non-profit organization that provides our military and local communities with assistance by providing grants, scholarships and community service to deserving students and community programs throughout the greater San Francisco Bay area. By partnering with other organizations we are able to support a variety of needs from emergency assistance and crisis intervention to promoting the welfare of those in the Coast Guard family. Members include Active Duty, Reserve, and Retired Warrant Officers from all over the greater San Francisco Bay Area and beyond.

On 07 November 16 the GG CWOA hosted some of the Oakland Raiders organization to BASE Alameda as they supported the NFL’s Salute to Service prerogative.

Three Raiders players helped serve lunch to the BASE Alameda crew. The players (TJ Carrie, Jon Condo, and Keith McGill), served lunch on the line then toured around the BASE and CGC STRATTON showing their support for military service and the USCG.

The event culminated with the Raiders donating $5000 to the Golden Gate CWOA to support our crew.

The attached picture shows the check being presented to the association.
